Welcome to Howletts Nursery and Garden Centre.  We grow most of our plants in our nursery from seed or cuttings.  We stock a range of unusual varieties for public and trade, so whether you are a keen gardener or landscaper we have something for you.  We also sell compost by weight, so you buy only what you need and have an on site hydroponic  chilli pepper  farm.  You are more than welcome to visit us and browse and discuss your plant requirements with us.

James is in charge of the day to day running of the greenhouse and  his  beloved  Chilli  farm,  he   is  always  on  hand  to  discuss  your  garden  needs.    If  you  want  something   we  don’t stock,  or  you  can’t find  elsewhere ,  he  will  always  be  happy  to  source  it  for  you.

Previously  a  senior  team  member  at  Longacres,  Esther  has  wide  experience  of  garden  centre  design  and  plant  care.    She  loves  point  of  sale  and  customer  service  and   is  glad  to  spend  time  discussing your     garden  requirements.

Eileen is a keen gardener, who enjoys experimenting with colour and form.  She particularly loves upcycling redundant items to give them a new purpose and is responsible for making our range of delicious jams, pickles and chutneys.

Anna can usually be found with a paintbrush and broom in hand updating the shop floor.  She loves talking to customers about colour choices and seasonal plants.
